Well I went to Boot Camp at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego, made about 2 months of training and was sent home due to med problems. Hi Ben! Sorry to hear about the health difficulties with boot. It not an easy path, and no doubt God simply has other plans for you.
My husband is former Marine, medically retired so its all common ground, I do understand what you have gone through. He is also law enforcement, along with being a fire chief and as a result I understand a bit of the path you are tracking on.
Stick to your plans, it sounds as though you have a good head on your head on shoulders and you will get where you are wanting to go.
