Pretty annoying I may add.

Until they tell you that you do have bulk mail waiting, I look at the phantom message as a reminder to see if I have any bulk messages waiting.

i have no messages in my inbox or anywhere else but it still says i have a 1 new message when i click on it it goes to my inbox and there is no messages shown.this is annoying

sometimes hi5 shows that you have messages and request but you dont, the same happen to me but I dont get annoying for that is no a big problem

Yes this is annoying. It's been happening since all the cute little applications started leaking in to the network.

Also the updates on my profile page keep re-appearing. They are from last week. I have deleted them several times to no avail.

Hi5 you are cutting your own throat by trying to improve the current code before it is working properly. As a programmer I can say this is not wise. Get the kinks out of the original code before adding more avenues for problems. It is a great time and money saver.
